H1 Update: 0G’s Upcoming Milestones & Chain Upgrades

At the start of the year, we shared an inside look at 0G’s latest developments, covering how our compute network, service marketplace, and powerful, developer-friendly chain are redefining the intersection of AI and blockchain. A lot has happened since. 

So far this year, 0G has unveiled:

• 0G Hub, a one-stop destination that aggregates 0G dApps, analytics, developer tools, and more
• $88.88M Ecosystem Program backed by leading investors and ecosystem partners
• Guild on 0G, a builder program offering over $8.88 million in prizes, grants, and gas credits
• One Gravity NFTs, which grant holders exclusive access privileges that will evolve as 0G scales! 
• StorageScan Miner Rewards update offering real-time analytics for all Turbo and Standard nodes.
• 0G Hub integration for Zer0, a smart DEX that uses AI to dynamically manage liquidity pools
• ERC-7857 token standard to enable fully composable, transferable iNFT AI agents
• 0G tokenomics allocation details that reflect our community-first approach to sustainable growth

But this is just the start. Over the next few months, 0G will be rolling out even more new offerings, infrastructural upgrades, and ways to engage as we co-create the future of decentralized AI. Here’s what you have to look forward to.

Expanding 0G’s AI Agent Ecosystem

AI-powered applications are only as strong as the infrastructure that enables them.

AIverse: The No-Code AI Agent Launchpad & Marketplace

AIverse is 0G’s premier decentralized AI agent marketplace, and will allow users to design and deploy AI agents as iNFTs (Intelligent NFTs) without any technical expertise. The initial implementation will include seamless AI agent creation with auto-generated PFPs and “agent within agent” deployment.  Later updates will introduce plug-in functionalities for agents to connect with external dApps and other powerful capabilities.

On top of that, 0G’s mainnet launch in Q2 2025 will introduce full iNFT transferability, meaning AIverse users will be able to transfer and trade fully operational AI agents in ways that were previously impossible! Stay tuned for details on how to get early access.

Battle of Agents: Opinionated, Evolvable AI 

This gamified dApp will launch as a proof of concept built on AIverse, introducing permissionless AI-powered interactions and betting markets. Battle of the Agents will involve some familiar web3 personalities, evolutionary AI mechanics, and permissionless participation—and we’re just weeks away from announcing the full details. 

Scaling 0G’s Infrastructure & Performance

Decentralized AI requires massive computation, storage, and high-speed execution—something traditional blockchains weren’t built to handle. 0G is fixing that with an infrastructure optimized for scalable AI processing and high-throughput decentralized execution, with multiple consequential upgrades in the works.

0G Chain Upgrades

The next iteration of the 0G blockchain is expected to deliver a ~10x improvement in transactions per second (TPS), making it one of the fastest, AI-optimized chains in web3. This entails:

• 3,000 to 10,000 TPS, massively scaling AI execution
• Optimized for inference workloads and high-frequency transactions
• Benchmarking repo (evmchainbench) to allow for public performance testing

Moving from Testnet to Mainnet

2.5M unique wallets have executed ~354.2M transactions on 0G’s testnet to date, with over 529.3k smart contracts deployed. We are continually improving our network and will soon be deploying an improved testnet that will help us dramatically increase 0G’s network performance beyond what was previously possible. 

At this point 0G is mere weeks away from mainnet deployment, and the team is focused on ensuring a seamless launch, with all critical infrastructure optimized for real-world AI x web3 applications. This major milestone will mark the next phase of 0G’s growth and adoption, as more users, developers, and enterprises have reasons to get involved and benefit from everything 0G has to offer.

Alignment Node Staking & Rewards Dashboard

Running an AI Alignment Node is about to become simpler and more rewarding. This portal provides a one-stop dashboard for staking, delegation, and reward tracking, enabling:

• Instant reward claims at TGE (33% of lifetime rewards)
• Daily staking rewards that compound over time
• Node-as-a-Service (NaaS) model so users can delegate without running their own node

Enhancing Cross-Chain Liquidity & Staking

AI-native blockchains need seamless token mobility and staking incentives to thrive. In H1 2025, we’re launching bridging, staking dashboards, and liquidity tools that ensure a smooth, connected AI financial system.

Cross-Chain Bridge

Bridging assets across blockchains should be effortless—and soon it will be. 0G is integrating Chainlink’s CCIP to enable secure, permissionless bridging directly in the 0G Hub, allowing for:

• Seamless asset transfers between 0G, Ethereum, and other major chains
• AI-powered dApps that can interact across multiple networks
• Reduced friction for users moving liquidity into the 0G ecosystem

Staking Dashboard & Explorer

0G’s staking incentives will continue to strengthen 0G’s validator network while providing earning opportunities for the 0G community. To simplify this process, 0G’s upcoming staking dashboard is purpose-built to offer a streamlined, intuitive staking experience which lets you capitalize on:

• Delegation to validators and earn rewards with one click
• Integrations with the 0G Hub,for a unified user experience
• Airdrop claim + stake feature encourages long-term token holding

The Future of AI is Being Built on 0G

As 0G continues to push the boundaries of decentralized AI, the momentum we’re building in H1 2025 is only the beginning. With everything covered above going live in the first half of this year, the foundations for a thriving, fully on-chain AI economy are being set. 

But the second half of 2025 will take things even further. In Q3, we’ll see the expansion of AIverse with more sophisticated AI agents, a service marketplace launch that introduces decentralized inference, fine-tuning, and training, and a larger Galxe campaign designed to drive mainnet adoption. By Q4, we’ll continue scaling these initiatives, refining the AI marketplace, and rolling out new ecosystem-wide upgrades.
