How $0G Unlocks: Token Release Schedule and Vesting Explained
When we published the Clarifying 0G’s Token Allocation blog, our goal was to show how $0G is built to support the 0G community and grow the ecosystem sustainably. To build on that conversation, we’re sharing more detail on how $0G will be released over time, including a full unlock schedule and supply curve for anyone who wants to track the protocol’s progress.
Token Allocation Overview
The $0G token is designed to balance sustainability with utility. Every allocation category reflects a long-term design principle: reward those who contribute to the network, while ensuring resources are available to grow the ecosystem and secure the protocol.
Token Unlocks & Vesting
0G follows a carefully structured vesting schedule designed to ensure long-term alignment between our mission and our community. Team and backer allocations include a 12-month lock-up post-TGE, vesting over 36 months to fully unlock at 48 months. In parallel, 38% of the Community allocation will unlock at TGE, with the remaining 62% vesting gradually over 24–36 months to sustain ongoing ecosystem growth. This means that 21.32% of the total $0G token supply will be unlocked at TGE, all of which is from the Community allocation – AI Alignment Node, Ecosystem Growth, and Community Rewards.
