0G Monthly Tech Update: September 2025
0G recently completed its TGE and Aristotle Mainnet launch — a milestone we’ve been building toward for two years. With the network now live and rewards flowing, our focus shifts to scaling the ecosystem with a fresh slate of technical updates.
September was a month of hyper-acceleration: we wrapped token deployment on testnet, audited contracts for AIverse and the compute network, and improved our compliance and rewards infrastructure. These upgrades reflect the first wave of improvements coming after launch, ensuring builders, node operators, and users all have the tools they need to thrive on 0G.
Here’s a look at what’s new, what’s improved, and what’s next!
Ecosystem Infrastructure
Our infrastructure teams have been strengthening the foundation for users, validators, and developers alike. During September, we:
- Finalized multi-address support for KYC, giving users with multiple wallets a seamless way to stay compliant without re-verifying each address.
- Integrated zkME as a new KYC provider, adding redundancy and flexibility to our compliance pipeline.
- Finalized the Rewards UI, alongside integration testing for the Rewards contract, making it easier for node operators and delegators to track earnings.
Compute Network
0G’s compute network received a major upgrade in September, with SDK and provider version upgraded to v0.4.0. This new release improves developer flexibility and strengthens the foundation for high-availability deployments.
Key updates include:
- TEE integration: Contracts now support Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) as a settlement credential, with continued R&D on how to build this out further.
- High-availability SDK commands: Developers can now launch services across multiple providers directly through the SDK.
- Contract audit preparation: Smart contracts for the compute network underwent audit as part of our transition into mainnet-ready infrastructure.
AIverse
AIverse is quickly moving toward its public debut, with new features rolled out and the groundwork laid for the post-launch environment.
In September, we:
- Completed a contract audit and deployed a new environment adapted for mainnet.
- Added category statistics to the Discover page, making it easier to browse and analyze agent activity.
- Released transfer notifications for agents, improving transparency for users when assets change hands.
- Launched whitelist functionality and configurable page information to support multiple application versions across testnet and mainnet.
- Fixed post-launch issues in AIverse’s UI and delivered improvements to mobile responsiveness.
Protocol Development
On the protocol side, the team achieved a major milestone with wrapped token support. W0G, our Chainlink CCT-compatible wrapped token, was deployed to testnet along with its token pool, unlocking interoperability for oracle and DeFi integrations. In parallel, we also prepared updates for Chainscan, ensuring block and transaction data remain fast and accessible.
Coming Up Next
With mainnet live, September’s updates represent the start of 0G’s next chapter: building out the tools, infrastructure, and applications that make decentralized AI usable at scale. The focus in the coming weeks will be:
- Completing audits and hardening contracts for production-grade stability.
- Expanding TEE research and integration.
- Rolling out new features in AIverse ahead of its broader release.
- Preparing the launch of our next-generation AI chatbot.
Going forward, every new update should make it easier for builders, node operators, and users to create, interact with, and own the future of decentralized AI.
